About

Born in the late 1980s, I have never really outgrown the phase of toy buying and collecting. What attracts me then? Like most boys, it has always been mechas and automobiles that pique my interest, with the 2 main materials that embody most of my collection being plastic and die-cast metal.

Gunpla
I first started out with Gunpla over a decade ago, awestruck by the sheer powers of Gundams from the TV broadcast of the Mandarin-dubbed Gundam W. Back then, with only a trusty pair of scissors and the file from my nail clipper, I laid my hands and set myself to work, completing most of my models within a day.

Now, with the schedule of a 9-5 working adult, I can only focus most of my time working on Gunplas on weekends. Although I have expanded the tools of this hobby, I am still a third-rate builder, constructing most of my collection OOB, with only a slight touch of Gundam markers here and there before finishing up with a top-coat on days with better weather.

Die-Cast Cars
Like Gunpla, the first of my die-cast cars' collection came over a decade ago. The 2 main brands that have captivated me with their creations come from the far West and the far East - Mattel's Hotwheels and TakaraTomy's Tomica.

While focusing my attention on the 2 mainstream brands that can be found in most departmental stores, there are occasions when I will still buy whatever that offers realism coupled with acceptable pricing (be it plastic or die-cast metal).

Others
Transformers? Action figures? Capsule toys? I don't really restrict my collection, as long as the toy and pricing can attract me.

With my display shelf running out of space eons ago, I finally decided to drag my lazy ass and start this blog to gradually display my collection. Enjoy.
